I have always been a jean fiend and last Summer I found my absolute favorite jeans to date. I scooped up these Citizens jeans last July and wore them so much that I blew out the holes in the knee – which completely transformed the look. I still love that pair and how they are now more of a boyfriend-ish style, but I was so obsessed with how they looked new that I bought a second pair just a few weeks ago!
The top picture is of my newest pair and the bottom three pictures are of last seasons pair. I get so many compliments on these jeans whenever I wear them. The coolest part about these vintage cut Citizens is that each pair is unique. The ones I bought this year are a lighter wash denim compared to my older pair – however, the style and color code are the exact same.
The price point may be a bit high for some people, but they are worth every penny! If you aren’t looking to spend $200+ on a pair of jeans, Levi’s makes an almost identical pair that is a much more reasonable price. Although I must say, contrary to the rest of the world, I am not a fan of Levi’s. Perhaps I have just not tried on the right styles, but each style I have tried on runs insanely small. I had to go up TWO sizes just to get into them and they were still a touch too tight. So I no longer have much interest in buying any denim from Levi’s.
I linked both my jeans and the Levi’s version for y’all, as well as a pair from Re/Done!
